Hey! I’m Ashley Marie, creator of Milkshot Tea Party.

I started this cooking blog to be an encouraging resource for people to learn how to have fun with everyday activities, like cooking meals, TOGETHER with loved ones.

In a society that gets swept up in the fast-paced world we inhabit, I want to promote the slowing down of life and the appreciation of quality time with one another…cooking, eating, & being merry.

I got the name “Milkshot Tea Party” from a special moment I shared with my 3 girls.

As my 7 year old daughter was pouring milk into the teeny tiny teacups of my younger two, I sat there watching the mess unfold and listened to the deep laughter coming from each little mouth. I thought to myself…these are the moments I don’t want to forget. My 1 year old was throwing back “shots” of milk from her tiny cup and I couldn’t help but laugh at the beautiful disaster…then Milkshot Tea Party was born.

I love to cook, and was fortunate enough to have a restaurant at one point, so it brings me absolute joy to share my recipes with you.
